Hardscrabble Road is the product of four veteran New Jersey musicians, each with careers spanning over 35 years of live performing. They cover 60's through todays current rock music. This is a 4 piece group focused on the most excellent lead guitar of John Parkes, vocals and guitar by Steve Schmidt, bass, vocal harmonies and harp by Dan Williams and drums by Greg Walker. Not just another "local band", Hardscrabble Road always puts on a musical experience to remember.

Head First originated in the Los Angeles area in 1978, and consists of five individuals, all with professional musical backgrounds, dedicated to providing the ultimate LIVE rock and roll experience, in a "tribute" to ALL great classic rock, from the 60's to the present. As well as playing many of the rock "standards" (Beatles, Led Zep, Aerosmith, AC/DC, Skynyrd, etc) the band covers many more unexpected tunes from bands such as Supertramp, Pink Floyd, and Blue Oyster Cult.
